The details of the production process of SKP
are as follows:
The major products manufactured by SKP are as follows:

Procurement of Raw Materials and Moulds
The raw materials required for the injection moulding
process comprising commodity resins and engineering plastic
are procured in accordance with the customers' specifications
from the raw materials suppliers.

The plastic injection moulded parts and components are
then subject to final quality control testing, packaged
and sent to the customers or are subject to secondary
processes as detailed below.

Secondary Processes
Secondary processes comprise of processes to enhance the
appearance of the finished products. These processes are
usually required to print the brand names of the manufacturers
on the casings of the electronic and electrical products.
Secondary processes include processes such as hot stamping,
silk screen printing, pad printing and spray painting.
Hot stamping is a process where aluminium foils of various
colours are stamped on selected portions of the moulded
parts. Silk screen printing is a process of printing logos,
brand names or other particulars on the moulded plastic
parts using silk-screen printers. Pad printing is a process
of printing directly onto the plastic parts or components.
Spray painting is a process of painting the surface of
moulded plastic parts by spraying.
Upon the completion of any of the secondary processes
mentioned above, the plastic part or component is subject
to final quality control testing before being packaged
and sent to the customers or is sub-assembled as detailed
below.

Sub-assembly Processes
The plastic parts and components from the secondary processes
are sub-assembled into other plastic parts and components
in accordance with the specifications and stringent requirements
of the customers. Upon the completion of this process,
the sub-assembled plastic parts and components are subject
to final quality control testing before being packaged
and sent to the customers.
