Established in 1974, Syarikat Sin Kwang Plastic Industries Sdn Bhd (SKP) began as a newcomer to the Malaysian plastic manufacturing industry. Equipped with only 7 Injection machines then, SKP had the capacity to cater solely to the local market only.

SKP is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SKP Resources Berhad which floats on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia.

With over three decades of experience in the electrical and electronics (E&E) industrty, SKP has since evolved into a leading plastic manufacturer that provides the utmost detail in their goods and services in compliance with international quality standards.

GROWING WITH TIME; MEETING DEMANDS
As time progresses, the demand for plastic goods are increasing. It is therefore essential to keep up with the heightening trend of plastic usage by the ever-growing consumer base of plastic products. To do so, SKP has ensured that its factory, strategically located on an eight acre land in Johor Bahru, is equipped with machinery that is complemented by the latest in plastic injection technology with the capacity to deliver goods from a wide range of specifications.

With an initial operative force of seven injection machines that has now developed into a full-fledged all-in-one work site ( One Stop Solution Centre ) , SKP is currently outfitted with  200 injection machines ranging from clamping forces of 20 to 1800 ton gas injection machines, 51 units of automated lower tonnage Sumitomo machine suited for precision moulding operations, (i.e., engineering plastics, delicate and transparent parts) along with higher tonnage gas injection machines capable of producing dimensions measuring as large as 65" LCD Televisions .

Our Johore Bahru Tooling Division, ( J.B.T ) has the ability to carry out mould fabrication processes of up to 650 ton tooling. This includes mould fabrication for plastic components used in audio and video equipment, medical equipment and automotive parts, amongst a wide array of others.

To fully meet the current and rising demand for high quality finished end products, SKP has equipped it's spray coating room with a "Clean Air Filter" facility which is suitable for 3D plastic components. In addition to this, our ability to produce the more complex and intricate UV Coating, 2-pack polyurethane paint & rubber-like elastomer is yet strength of SKP.

With a total of more than 20 assembly conveyor systems, these facilities are specifically designed to cater for the assembling of "Semi-Knocked Down" products which includes a wide variety of Electrical & Electronic components such as , High End Blu Ray Players,  LCD & LED Television, Vacuum Cleaners and car audio equipment, to name a few.

Our clean-room facility also allows the assembling of more sensitive products such as transparent parts. In addition to this, the 45 units of fully automated tempo pad systems that SKP is also readied with, allows high volume production and provides complete flexibility for all our customers.
